[lifesaver]
one of my better paintshop works. unfortunately, the character that supported the avatar was way too weak. as a consequence, the lifesaver never made it to the DWbN universe.

This is the beholder. Hunter of the Vigilante class.
The Beholder was one of those characters you didn’t want to mess with. Still young in his new assignment, the Beholder suffered from slight memory loss and that made him extremely vigilant.
The beholder was said to have been touched by the angel of light when he was still a fetus. Once he had entered the Hunter age, the Beholder gained the power of the flame.
One word uttered from his lips "BEHOLD" and the long metal rod he always had hidden in his right sleeve would be set alight with fires otherworldly.
No one ever wished for such an acquaintance. No one ever survived a meeting with the beholder.
The beholder was the second character I used for the Dark World by Night, Role Playing Game. As soon as Phlegyas gained his place in the hall of infernal angels, the fallen ones that managed to gain Lucifer’s respect and join him in the fiery places of hell, the Beholder was the character that stepped into the game.
Death Toll: 239 Victims.
this is Phlegyas.
The first of a series of avatars created for my online characters on DWbN [Dark World by Night].
In the Divine Comedy by Dante, Phlegyas was the guardian dog of the fifth circle of hell… The circle of wrath…
In DWbY, Phlegyas was a fallen angel, a radiant Luciferist, a one of a kind, DEMON class being. Enraged by God’s lunacy he tried to overthrow Him but failed.
On planet earth, Phlegyas took his rage against the creations of God, the humans.
No human ever saw Phlegyas and lived to tell the story.
Death Toll: 665 Victims.
I don’t know how many of you still remember the Unabomber. What was his name? Theodore Kaczynski something?
Okay, this now is funny. The MS proofing tools accept Kaczynski as correct. LOL! Who would have known? Someone actually entered the Unabomber in the MS dictionary. Cool.
Anyways, one of the national newspapers included the unabomber’s manifest which I read when I was still at school. He seemed like a bright individual. He didn’t seem crazy to me. Okay, so maybe bombing people with hand made bombs, okay maybe that was crazy. But his views were crystal clear and distinct.
So, I did that for him back then
A map and a chronological listing of bombing attempts, his arrest pic, his mug shot which circulated before his arrest and his university headshot, when everyone was still amazed by his genius.
I know this is a crappy picture. But it holds so much within it that I can’t even pretend to try and explain. In any case, I’m gonna say this: This is the first photo I ever played with on a PC.
It’s true. It was done with Jasc Paintshop Pro 2 (long before Corel sunk her teeth into it), in 1993. As a matter of fact, it was done on a free version of the program given away on a single 3.5 diskette (some of you younger boys and girls will not even know what a diskette is but that’s another long story).
Actually, the only thing I did to the photo was to cut out of my fellow student (I actually hated his guts and he hated me in return lol), then cut out the other guy (who was –possibly still is- a gay guy looking for fresh meat online), then put them on a new pic together and fill in the background with those awesome tubes that Paintshop always came with. Yes, the background wall is in fact a repeating tube
Then, the dedication was easy: “For the good old times! yours 4ever, Alex”
LOL! It was hugely entertaining back then. Specially, considering I was doing it along with another fellow student who hated him too. Well, that one actually hated EVERYone. Me included
That’s another story as well. LOL!
