Much has been said; this is [AVR]. Cheers for the wonderful photos mate
Arguably, they do mix in well together, don’t they now?
I love it anyways…
The sunset was shot back in 2006 in Santorini. The headshot was taken round the same time only it was done in Chalandri during that infamous photo session [chalandri].
In the Dark World by Night landscapes there were times when we needed to gather around and discuss matters of importance (well they were important then LOL) concerning the game itself, or some specific player or whatever.
When those meetings took place instead of typing the “~ooc” before our sentences (which would stand for Out of Character) we would simply put up an OOC avatar like the one above.
That meant that the game was paused, the characters were gone and the players were discussing something that needed resolution.
This was my second OOC avatar. I loved them both (besides, the other one is precisely the same only the aura was red) even though –as you can easily tell- my weight had gone over there roof!

this was probably my most most most most most played character on DWbN. Silence and Amadeus Walken were definitely my most loved and successful characters. silence was a hunter as well. however, he was an avenger like the beholder but we was much more calculative. his strategic planning had helped him more than a couple of times when we found himself in difficult situations.

this is Hein (if i recall correctly – lol). a human. yes i did play a human that somehow managed to remain a human. he was not bitten, he was not killed. he managed to survive. actually this was a cybersex magnet. it was not what he was made for but he did pull way too much sexual energy lol. in any case, i loved the word i did for this avatar. the girl’s drop shadow on the water, the hawk above, the biohazard and the registration phlegyas 2003 logo, all add to the essence of this avatar. it emits some sort of loneliness and this is precisely what it was meant for. Hein was abandoned by his gf. that’s the reason he reached the DWbN.

this was the next successful avatar for Hein. again, the blurri ng effect adds to the story as Hein had suffered a blow on the back of the head and developed loss of memory.
Easier and cheaper were the following:

This is Amadeus Walken.
Indeed, the long lost twin brother of the psycho hollywood actor.
Only the sole thing those two have in common is the slight =if any= rational connection to this world.
Amadeus was the third character I created for the DWbN universe. However, he was my all time favourite.
I somehow connected with him. He came to be my alter ego and me, myself, I came to be his.
Amadeus was a hunter, Judge creed. He was one of the two hunters that broke the human barriers with all the known paradoxes of course.
Amadeus had lost touch with the rational world. He fantasized the world as the god’s playground and he went on a killing spree of sinners. His weapons were coins and words and his obsession was the bible.
Amadeus killed and quoted … or the other way round if you prefer.
He had a massive amount of sharpened coins in his right hand pocket. A bible in his left.
His marksmanship was legendary as he is said to have slaughtered a tremendous monster of darkness as it galloped towards him without moving half a step backwards. He stayed put, roots of oak, storming an attack of flying sharpened coins that clouded the sky and slit the air into thin slices.
Amadeus was never hurt.
Amadeus never died.
Amadeus faded.
Into darkness, into oblivion, into something.
No one actually knows for sure. It is said that Amadeus violated the outer limits of human existence, pestered the absolute limits of his creed and then … evaporated.
It is said that Amadeus became one with his Words of Overshadow.
Just like the beholder used the "BEHOLD" scream to set his rod alight, the Judge creed had some sort of such a power and Amadeus was one of the few that had mastered it.
"I AM THE LAW"
That’s the words that came out of Amadeus lips, fragments of a second before blinding light would strike all. Light divine or light infernal. Noone knew. Amadeus either. Only he was persuaded he had been given all powers by God. So with his bible at hand, his Words of Overshadow and his sharpened silver coins, Amadeus quickly became the fear of all evildoers.
The greatest murderer of mankind’s existence, Amadeus, the evildoer Judge and Punisher.
