A tweeter friend of mine asked online if there ‘d be anyone interested in making a cover for her draft novel. Well, I read the novel’s synopsis and this is what I came up with. I hope she will like it
The synopsis follows:
Aubreys’ mysterious appearance in the Vale as an infant caused an uproar within the town. In a place where no outsider has come in hundreds of years, she creates a wide-spread panic. But the panic an infant causes is nothing compared to the fear that is created seventeen years later, when another stranger makes his way through the cursed mountains that surround the town, looking for the lost Princess of Galena. Curiosity overflows Aubrey as she wonders if she could be the one he is looking for, and what will happen if she is? How will they get out of the Vale and what lies in the world beyond the walls? Follow Aubrey on her magical journey through a land she never knew existed in her search to find where she truly belongs.

Currently with the Portsmouth University where he’s employed as a Senior Lecturer, this used to be one of the most hated individuals of the Swansea Computer Science Department.
In 2000, after hatred had climaxed, the “Die Mr. Poole” masterpiece of musical engineering (LOL!) was released to the masses!
Former students of the Swansea University during those dreaded years are sure to enjoy / savour every moment (ROFL!).
You may click on the link below to listen to and download the entire song.
Be sure to witness the passion after 00.40” (LMAO!)

It was back in the first years of the new millennium, when we were still students of the UWS. I didn’t know [AVR] that very much back then. I had actually started getting to know him.
I distinctly remember however when one day he said that he wanted to make a stamp and wear it proud (he actually talked about 2 stamps but since I have something in mind for the second one, I’ll not say anymore here about that).
The above signifies a SKYLADIKA NO ZONE! And yes, my non Greek brethren will not get it. In any case, what this means is that, Greek Bouzouki music and the rest of the same level, are forbidden!
Well, I hope you’ll like it [AVR]!
Happy, Happy Birthday Mate!

This was the first time I went downtown to the library and the university. It was in 2004, when Madrugada first came to Greece. Years later I still believe the photos I shot that day are the very best I ever shot.
In 2009, I played around with the original and this is the outcome. I hugely like it to be honest. I had hope for something better but in the end, it’s not one bit disappointing.

Well, this was one of my very first Facebook photos. I loved the eagle on the back. Totally loved it. Then I noticed I needed a shave (LOL) so I removed it. Still, I like this photo. May be the colours, might be the gone weight, should be the awesome party we were back then. Split now, not even talking one to the other.
Eh… memories…
