this is the first phlegyas iron-on i did for personal use. i’d iron it round the lower end of a t-shirt’s sleeve and wear it proudly. yeah i love my username/handle/nickname/etc. so what? besides, look at that elegance of the individual letters that make up the word: p h l e g y a s. it’s as if it’s crying and screaming its design stature to be noticed.
the framing gray matter made it easier to cut-out and iron-on since i didnt have to worry about fading out the magma orange into the colour of the individual t-shirt.
yeah i think i still like this one.
did the above (which is marginally discernible but nevermind that) for the company that provided me with design requests.
doruk designs (dd) were a turkey based design company that would provide local clothing manufacturers with marketing identity and designs for logos and iron-ons alike.
actually, there used to be another company that finally split up, from which doruk designs emerged. after the split up, i was called in to design the new company’s logo. the above was what we finally decided upon. it actually looks better as an iron-on because of the colours.

a series of logos i made for a company in turkey. they were a clothes company and they needed a new marketing identity. i did approximately 16 logos before they decided which they liked the most. my personal favourites are the ones i listed here.
those there beautiful times in turkey. some of my greek brothers will shrug but, when the people you have around you mean well and make you feel nice, then the location is of inferior importance. yeah, turkey was not all that clean and yeah at some points you get the feeling you’re being scanned by someone for valuables; however, honestly now, is there any way these aren’t both true in any major city of the world? Okay, perhaps i would have liked it more if the streets were cleaner but on the other hand, it’s a poor country.
back to our subject, all of the above were created with the free version of painshop pro (shareware) in 2005. the only thing that took long to figure out was the dropping of the vowels. as soon as i dropped the vowels i created more than half of the logos i finally turned in. however, the full reddish baltona logo above is still a personal favourite.
this is the second wrath specific logo. i totally loved this one. you can tell anyway, since i’m still using it with my new webspace. it has something, an essence of sorts. i can’t really explain. i just love the way the 6 different fonts and 3 different colours plus one gradient mix up and match together for this highly easy flowing design.

my first wrath specific creation.
phlegyas has always been my favourite nickname/handle/username for a number of reasons but at some specific point, it just struck me that the most important of all important reasons had always been his furious and irreversible display of wrath.
the above was created for my second iteration of the phlegyas impact webpage. this one outlasted the previous one but still, with geocities closing for good, i didn’t keep this anymore. besides, it’s a rather old graphic, since it was made in the early 2000s.
soon after that i even wrote a song about it. you can find that here.
